All AquaBliss products are designed to be self-installed. While it may seem like a daunting task to install a showerhead, they are pretty easy to install and no special skills or tools are required.

Remove the Old Shower Head

It should just twist right off like the lid on the jar of peanut butter. Remember, lefty loosey, righty tighty. If you have some calcium buildup preventing the showerhead from coming off, check out our helpful article How to Remove an Existing Shower Head

Clean Shower Arm

The threads on the shower arm may have a build-up of minerals or old plumbers tape. To remove this, wipe the end of the shower arm with a dry cloth. You can use steel wool to remove stubborn mineral deposits if necessary.

Install the Shower Mount

After cleaning the shower arm, twist the shower mount/bracket onto the end of the pipe where the old shower head used to be. The bracket will have two connections. One connection will screw onto the pipe coming from the wall. The other connection will be for the shower hose to twist onto. The shower mount is where you will hang the new, handheld shower head.

Attach the Hose

Connect one end of the shower hose to the shower mount, by twisting one end of the hose connector onto the shower mount. Take the other end of the hose and twist it onto the shower head connection. Once the hose is installed, you may hang the shower head into the shower mount.

Adjust the Angle of the Shower Head

The shower mount swivels so that you can adjust the angle of the shower head. You can adjust the shower head to an angle that suits you. To adjust the angle, you should dock the shower head in the shower mount and then pull on the shower head to change the angle. You can also rotate the shower head to move the shower sideways if required.
