How to install the aquabliss TurboSpa shower head

Installing your TurboSpa takes under 5 minutes and requires no specialist tools. The steps below will take you through the full process from removing your old shower head to securing the new one.

Step 1 — Remove your existing shower head

Grip your current shower head firmly and turn it counter-clockwise until it comes away from the shower arm. Most shower heads can be removed by hand, but if yours is stiff or heavily scaled, use a wrench for extra leverage. Wrap a cloth around the fitting first to protect the finish.

Step 2 — Clean the shower arm threads

Before fitting the new shower head, clear any old plumber's tape, mineral deposits, or debris from the shower arm threads. A dry cloth usually does the job — use fine steel wool for stubborn buildup. Clean threads make for a better seal and help prevent leaks.

Once the threads are clean, wrap fresh plumber's tape around them 2–3 times, working in the same direction as the thread. This creates a watertight seal when the new shower head is fitted.

Step 3 — Attach the TurboSpa shower head

Thread the aquabliss TurboSpa onto the shower arm and hand-tighten it clockwise. Hand-tight is firm enough — avoid using tools on the final connection, as over-tightening can damage the fittings or crack the thread seal. Turn on the water to check for any leaks at the connection. If you see a small drip, add another layer of plumber's tape and reattach.
